Family seeks justice for elderly Austin restaurant owner assaulted by non-paying customers A restaurant owner and his family are hoping to find a group of patrons who attacked the 68-year-old owner.People come to the family-owned Austin restaurant for good food and a good time, but on Sunday, April 28, an incident involving a group of dissatisfied customers turned ugly.

Vazquez says a group of two women and one man complained about the food they had been served, after almost already clearing their dishes, and refused to pay their tab. Surveillance video shows the group getting up from the booth, heading for the door, but not before throwing and breaking those plates.

“No questions, he just hit me in the face, and I just turned around, and I see my nose was bleeding,” Vazquez said. “After that, I turned around, and I’m trying to hold my phone and try to take the picture again, and he just knocked my phone down from my hands and threw me to the floor.”
