Allen is married to one of Danny’s childhood friends, and she says she began looking into Danny’s case after experiencing her own personal tragedy.“I lost my daughter in 2016, and I looked at it as a mother who has lost and to have to fight for justice on top of that, I just had a lot of empathy for their family. And then I came across a podcast and I felt like that's what Danny's case needed,” Allen said. Together, they started an organized effort, working to get answers.
