Terribly sad news that a man who was seriously assaulted in Preston City Centre last week has died in hospital 💔
Jack Jermy-Doyle, 25, was assaulted on the junction of Harris Street and Birley Street at approximately 2.40am on Friday following an altercation with two males.
“Jack was a funny, charismatic, amazing young man who had so much to offer this world and we are truly broken that he has been taken from us so soon.Two men – aged 21 and 28 from Preston – have been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding and are on police bail while enquiries continue.Police are continuing to appeal for anybody who saw any of the three men described below in the area before or after the altercation or in Preston on Thursday evening or the early hours of Friday morning.
Male three, who is the victim, is described as white, approximately 6ft 1ins tall, in his early 20s, with dark hair. He was wearing a black and white check shirt over a black t-shirt, blue jeans and black trainers.
