A FAMILY of seven in Kampung Baru, Gua Musang, have been living without electricity supply for almost four years, Berita Harian reported.
Rusmawaty Rusdy, 35, said supply was cut when the family could not pay the outstanding bills that amounted to thousands of ringgit.
She said she, her husband Mohd Soffian Mohd Rosni, 41, and their five children aged between two and 14 would sleep in the dark every night.She said they use LED lights connected to a car battery only in the living room so her children could complete their schoolwork.“If we were to apply for a People’s Housing Project house, we are worried about not being able to meet the monthly commitment,” she said.
