Family of man shot by police demand body cam footage

Courtesy of Jasmine JohnsonFamily and activists are calling for the release of police body camera footage that could clarify what happened Monday afternoon when officers fatally shot a man on the West Side while trying to execute warrants for his arrest.

Investigators recovered a gun at the scene. The officers — who have four, five and 16 years of experience — were placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation.
