A family of six is displaced after a tree fell and damaged a house in Potomac, Maryland Thursday evening, according to Montgomery County Fire and EMS officials.
Crews said the incident took place in the area of Ivymount Terrace and Seven Locks Road around 9:24 p.m. The home had structural damage and power lines were reportedly downed.

The incident occurred in the 19600 block of Enterprise Way near Stedwick Road. No injuries were reported, but the house had structural damage, officials said."I was just on the sofa taking a nap and I heard my wife screaming and I woke up and the whole glass shattered on my floor," Gomez said. "It took my by surprise, and it shook me."
A Flood Watch was also issued for the areas along and west of the I-95 corridor from 8 p.m. Thursday through 8 p.m. Friday.
