in Florida has reached a settlement with the park and the ride’s operator, a lawyer for the family said. Tyre Sampson fell several hundred feet during the descent of a 430-foot-tall ride last March at an amusement park in Orlando, Fla. An said he exceeded the ride’s weight limit by about 100 pounds. His family said ride operators should have stopped him from going on it.
