A Florida man is offering a reward of more than $12,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot and killed his dog in his front yard.

It happened around 2:15 p.m. Nov. 17, in Eustis, according to a flyer circulating on Facebook. Owner Richard Pettis told"I was cooking. I heard it. I heard it. I walked out front and didn’t see anything," Pettis told the TV station."Got my truck keys … was walking out the back door. I got halfway to the gate, and there was blood all over the sidewalk."
