A vigil is being held on the 5 year anniversary of a San Antonio woman's disappearance. At 7 p.m. on Sunday, Search & Support San Antonio will be hosting a vigil in memory of Cecilia Huerta Gallegos , on the 5th anniversary of her disappearance.The vigil will be held at her residence at the corner of Southwick Street and Marshwood on the Northwest side.
The vigil will feature candle lighting, a brief statement from Sear5ch and Support’s case intake manager, and a prayer led by Chaplain Ginger Treanor. The San Antonio Police Department will also be providing security at the event, in light of recent developments surrounding the case, as well as the possible presence of Reyes Gallegos.“We emphasize that this vigil is intended solely as a memorial, with no intention of protest or disruption,” said Nina Brooks, Founder and President of Search & Support San Antonio. “We are grateful for the support of our community as we gather to remember Cecilia and support her family and friends.
