is hosting a Back 2 School event beginning at 10 a.m. on July 30 at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church, 9200 Inwood Road. Registration is required. The event includes backpacks, school uniforms and supplies as well as food and a kids-only basketball game., free school supplies will be available along with activities and food. The event runs 12-3 p.m. on July 30 at Dixon Circle Missionary Baptist Church, 3801 Dixon Ave. Children must be present to receive the supplies.

will provide Dallas children with free shoes and about 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies. The event begins at 10 a.m on Aug. 6 at 1900 S. Ewing Ave. while supplies last. The event will feature carnival games, prizes and snacks.10,000 backpacks stuffed with school supplies will be available for families who are eligible for free and reduced lunches at school. The event will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Aug. 6 at AT&T Stadium.
