Fama buys farmers’ sugarcane harvests in Negri Sembilan

THE Negri Sembilan Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority has purchased 11,190 sugarcane sticks worth RM17,803 from 24 local farmers here during the enforcement of the movement-control order between April 22 and 30. The purchase was to assist sugarcane farmers in the state in the absence of Ramadan bazaars this year. Also, the produce could not be exported to Singapore.
