Late-night hosts Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, John Oliver, Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Meyers combine forces on a podcast to benefit their strike-affected staffers.
As the contract between the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers expires, a strike has been called.
The podcast, which will begin streaming on the app later this year, will release episodes weekly and feature conversations between Noah and “some of the most influential and interesting figures around the world,” the streaming giant said in“We are excited to collaborate with Trevor to create an original podcast that seamlessly combines his unique humor, insightful commentary, and consummate interview skills on a global scale,” Spotify’s podcasting lead, Julie McNamara, said in the statement.
