Patchy fog is expected early Thursday and Friday across our inland areas.Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will continue, with temperatures slightly above our seasonal levels, and some inland areas reaching the 90s. Patchy fog is expected the next couple of mornings, mainly west of Highway 301/US1. The onshore flow will increase from the northeast Saturday and Sunday with a slight chance of showers and storms each day.Thursday: Patchy fog early then becoming partly cloudy to mostly sunny and a little warmer. A cool start to the day with lows in the 60s inland, upper 60s to 70s along the beaches. Afternoon highs in the 80s to low 90s. Wind: NE 5-10 mph, 10 - 15 mph along our beaches. Mostly clear overnight with patchy fog inland. Looking ahead: Dry and warmer Friday with increasing rain chances Saturday and Sunday, around 30 - 40 percent based on current models and timing. Tropics: Tropical Storm Gabrielle will head toward Bermuda. No local hazards expected. Two other areas are trying to develop in the wake of TS Gabrielle.
