Sergeant Allen Brandt served as a Fairbanks police officer for 11 years before giving his life in the line of duty in October of 2016. During his time with the police department he received many letters of commendation and honors due to his exceptional investigatory skills and superior work ethic. Around 200 people, including Sergeant Brandt’s wife and four children, attended the ceremony in the snow outside the police station.
