A Fairbanks man was charged with stealing a large amount of guns from a local gun store.

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A Fairbanks man was charged with stealing a large amount of guns from a local gun store . On March 10, Darel Puller, 25, stole 22 firearms; all but one belonged to the business’s inventory, as stated in count one of the indictment.

The one firearm that was not in the store’s inventory, belonged to the store owner. If convicted, Puller will face a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. He will make his first court appearance on a later date before the U.S. Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska. After considerations are made from the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors, the federal court judge will determine sentencing.
