PUTRAJAYA, July 4 — Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil today said that he will discuss the e-Tunai Belia Rahmah scams with the Cabinet tomorrow.
His comments come after reports that some eBelia recipients had fallen prey to scammers who offered to cash out the RM200 credit that they had received. “Ministers will meet tomorrow, and I will try to get some preliminary information so that we can determine if it only involves MCMC or other agencies and elements as well.
“We are waiting for the Ministry of Finance to provide us with some information too,” he said after attending the Courier Industry Appreciation Day here today.
