Penduduk Kampung Kuak Hulu iaitu sebuah perkampungan terpencil di hulu Perak, gembira apabila kawasan mereka dikunjungi oleh Menteri Pendidikan, Fadhlina Sidek yang mahu melihat pembangunan di tempat mereka.

Beliau berkata, dirinya selaku menteri yang bertanggungjawab terhadap pendidikan melahirkan kegembiraan apabila tidak berlaku soal keciciran pendidikan di kampung tersebut. Beliau berkata demikian selepas Majlis Peluncuran Program Santuni Madani Menteri Pendidikan di Kampung Kuak Hulu yang diadakan di SK Kuak Hulu di sini hari ini.
Antara keunikan kawasan itu ialah aktiviti tradisional seperti perlumbaan rakit, masakan kampung, gaya hidup tradisi kampung serta mempunyai kecantikan panorama kawasan berbukit.
