And while the rest of our country has three-plus-hour waits, thanks Democrats, Minneapolis airports' TSA wait times right now is less than five minutes." In a follow-up post on X, Boebert said:"I never said ICE was at MSP," after a rebuttal from Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, a Democrat, who shared her post with the comment:"ICE agents have not been deployed into Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport. Our airport security wait times are normally quick and have been throughout the Republican shutdown."Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport :"The Metropolitan Airports Commission is not aware of any planned changes for security checkpoint staffing at MSP at this time. "During the partial government shutdown, TSA checkpoint wait times have consistently remained under 30 minutes at MSP, despite heavy spring break travel," added the spokesperson. "The relatively low wait times are a testament to the commitment of the local TSA team. We're grateful for the TSA’s continued service to maintain smooth and secure travel for MSP passengers."ICE agents have been deployed to assist TSA operations at a number of U.S. airports during the shutdown, but neither Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport nor any other Minnesota airport has been publicly identified as receiving that support. MSP's airport authority said it was not aware of any planned checkpoint staffing changes and said wait times had remained relatively short during the shutdown.
