Facebook’s offices will be 75% quieter when they reopen in July—here's why:
The social media giant will reopen its offices on July 6 to employees who cannot work from home, and will reportedly limit capacity to 25%.
Employees may have temperature checks carried out on entry, and will be required to wear face masks where social distancing is not possible. According to Bloomberg, Facebook could limit occupancy in meeting rooms, create six-foot gaps between workspaces, and close office gyms.Outside visitors will also be banned from entry at the outset, according to Bloomberg.As businesses such as retailers, restaurants and salons are beginning to reopen as restrictions are eased across states, social distancing presents a new normal for employees and customers.
