FACEBOOK and Google, along with 32 more of the world's biggest technology companies, have been removing millions of adverts online associated with wildlife trading, and experts fear numbers in China could surge in the wake of coronavirus.
Express.co.uk spoke to Facebook, who banned the trade of all live animals and products listed as endangered and made it easier for users on both Facebook and Instagram to flag prohibited species listings in real-time.
