‘F*** off’: Furious bust-up explodes on track as Aussie almost caught up in carnage
Great Britain star George Mills blew his lid in an ugly post-race bust-up after being felled in the final lap of a chaotic men ’s 5000m heat.
Mills was on course to finish in eighth place before he tumbled to the track after colliding with Spain’s Thierry Ndikumwenayo. Stewart McSweyn leaps to avoid a pile of runners, including Great Britain’s George Mills . Thankfully for Mills, his Olympic journey is still alive after a post-race review from the referee saw him put through to the final.
And he angrily confronted France’s Hugo Hay - whom he pushed in the chest - moments after the culmination of the race.Source: Getty ImagesMills continued to berate the Frenchman, despite his rival’s attempts to diffuse the situation.But a furious Mills shrugged him off before appearing to tell him to “f*** off”.Mills was furious with Hay as they had a slight tangle on the final bend as the latter tried to push forward.
