Extreme heat in Utah causing fish to die in Utah's reservoirs & ponds
At Lost Creek Reservoir, more than 80 kokanee salmon did not survive the heat wave. DWR also logged catfish deaths at the Jensen Nature Park pond in Syracuse and the Farmington Pond.
Paddleboarders and fishermen have noticed a dramatic drop in levels at the Lost Creek Reservoir over the last two to three weeks.
