Oakland police plan to have more than 100 officers present Thursday at the Coliseum for the A’s season ending game, probably their last ever at the stadium.

The game is a sellout, with more than 40,000 fans expected to see the A’s take on the Texas Rangers. First pitch is scheduled for 12:37 p.m. PDT. Officers will be inside and outside the stadium starting before the first pitch and there will be a deputy chief, captain and lieutenant present, commanding operations, officials said Wednesday.Police also said the A’s also have increased private security details for the game.
