June 9 through Sept. 7 is now labeled the most dangerous 90 days to be on a roadway in Washington state, according to the Washington Traffic Safety Commission , based on data collected over the past five years. Traffic crashes during that time claimed 967 lives, according to the WTSC, accounting for 31% of all traffic deaths statewide.
The statewide Surviving Summer campaign kicked off Friday night with units in King County. Two drivers were being tested for impairment in theWSP arrested 12 drivers suspected of driving impaired, and one of them was under age 21. Fatalities are at an all-time high,” WSP Chief John R.
