Families, food banks, and multiple agencies are bracing for challenges when extra Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits come to an end in a few days.

She said plans are in the works to place case managers at libraries and food distribution sites to help answer questions and concerns about the SNAP changes. The pantry itself served about 25 to 30 families per week before COVID-19, but now it serves 25 to 30 families per day.
