Britney Spears’ divorce from Sam Asghari is growing increasingly complicated with conflicting reports suggesting her former partner is attempting to extort the singer to gain a more generous financial settlement.
Mr Asghari, 29, filed for divorce from the singer after 14 months on Wednesday in Los Angeles citing irreconcilable differences, and stated that the couple had separated about three weeks ago.

Picture: Vivien Killilea/Getty Images for GLAAD The actor also spoke out last year prior to the wedding and publicly encouraged Britney to make the former personal trainer sign a pre-nup. “There are many claims that Sam is challenging the prenup and threatening to exploit his ex-wife with videos,” Mr Asghari’s representative Brandon Cohen told The Hollywood Reporter on Friday.
