Consensus has come a long way since its first event in 2015. A new blog by our joeyprebys takes a look back at the evolution of Consensus and how it has grown and gives you a look at what to expect from consensus2023.
Since 2015 Consensus has served as the industry’s premier event that brings together the crypto community at large to meet face to face, discuss the ongoings of the industry and decide the path forward.
As the industry has grown over the years, the annual Consensus gathering has grown right alongside it. What started as a few hundred people in a ballroom in New York City has now evolved into many thousands of dedicated industry professionals taking over the Convention Center in downtown Austin, Texas.
Have no fear. With the launch of this new Consensus blog, I am here to explain the ins and outs of Consensus as a Consensus insider. This blog is designed to showcase all the ways Consensus has grown since 2015, highlight this year’s most important programming and to share an inside look at the makings of the world’s largest, most influential and most comprehensive event in crypto and Web3.
I’m personally interested in Web3 marketing, the potential of Web3 and decentralized autonomous organizations to make positive social changes, art and music. I have a lot of professional experience with regulation, financial services and cryptocurrency. CoinDesk’s annual crypto and Web3 gathering is no small feat. Each year the CoinDesk team works hard to make sure Consensus is exactly what the industry needs at that time in history.
