Screen Rant's exclusive Expired clip sees Hugo Weaving breaking down the sinister government experiment to control the emotions of its subjects. The sci-fi thriller is set in a neon-tinged future as hardened assassin Jack and nightclub singer April find themselves drawn to one another and begin developing feelings for each other. However, as their feelings lead them to search for what it once was to be human, they stumble across a dark mystery for their existence.
Ahead of the film's theatrical and digital release, Screen Rant is debuting an exclusive Expired clip. The video sees Hugo Weaving's Dr. Bergman breaking down the sinister government experiment behind Jack and April's existence and teasing the dangers of the people behind it. True Blood and Dead Silence star Ryan Kwanten is leading the cast of Expired alongside Weaving, Clickbait alum Jillian Nguyen, Charlie Albers, Tamah Bannister and Lamar Brown. Ivan Sen is writing, directing and producing the sci-fi thriller alongside David Jowsey, Angela Littlejohn and Greer Simpkin while Kate Queen, Thomas K. Meadows, Tarik Coskun, Daisy Hamilton, Marcy Levitas Hamilton and Gato Scatena are all set as executive producers.
