MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio – On Election Day, Ohio voters will decide on Issue One, also known as the “Citizens, Not Politicians” amendment.

Dr. Marc Clauson, Professor of History and Law at Cedarville University, explains why Issue One is a hot topic this election cycle. “In many ways, this policy could have a greater effect on them because it’s going to impact how their political boundaries are drawn into the future,” says Dr. Lee Hannah, Professor of Political Science at Wright State University.

Hannah says, “The difference in drawing boundaries in one township versus another township can really flip a place from being safely Democratic to safely Republican.”
