When Rebecca Minkoff signed on to participate in the latest season of Bravo's “The Real Housewives of New York City,” she knew she might encounter some drama along the way, but she wasn’t eager to find herself in the middle of it. Bravo is owned by NBCUniversal, TODAY’s parent company. “I wanted to be more of the peacemaker and try to resolve the conflicts,” she tells TODAY.com.
“There’s still a lot more drama to come,” she teases. Joining Season 15 of ‘RHONY’ Minkoff joined Season 15 of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” the second season of the entirely rebooted franchise, as a friend of the cast. When asked what inspired her to step into the world of reality TV, the designer says she appreciated that each member of the cast was a 'self-made woman in the business world.
