Plymouth Argyle and another unnamed Championship club have made approaches for Wigan goalkeeper Sam Tickle,Wayne Rooney’s side have made a move for Tickle as they target a replacement for Michael Cooper following his move to Sheffield United.
Conor Hazard has been starting in goal for Plymouth in what has been a mixed start to the season for the League One club. Rooney is now looking to bring in a goalkeeper to strengthen his options in that position, with Tickle being his number one target.Tickle has been impressive since joining Wigan in 2021 and even represented England’s Under-21s team this year.
