The exclusive Hollywood Con Queen clip previews a brand-new Apple TV+ docuseries about a major Hollywood scam involving a con artist who exploited numerous people in the entertainment industry by stealing their identities and making millions of dollars.“A mysterious figure dubbed the ‘Con Queen’ impersonates the industry’s most powerful women, luring unsuspecting victims to Indonesia with the promise of a life-changing career opportunity,” the official synopsis reads.
Hollywood Con Queen comes from Chris Smith and Library Films. Smith previously worked on a number of popular documentaries and docuseries, including 2017’s Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond, 2019’s Fyre, 2020’s Tiger King, 2021’s Operation Varsity Blues, 2021’s 100 Foot Wave, and more. Smith serves as director and executive producer on Hollywood Con Queen, while Ben Anderson is also an executive producer. Johnson serves as a consulting producer. serves as a consulting producer.
