Nottingham Forest defender Aaron Donnelly is set to join Colchester on loan,The League Two club have reached an agreement to sign the 21-year-old after beating his former loan club Dundee in the race.
The centre-back is well down the pecking order at Forest and they are happy to loan him out in search of regular first-team football. That deal is set to expire at the end of this season and the defender will get the chance to impress in League Two this term.The move comes after Donnelly made his debut for Northern Ireland’s senior side in a friendly against Andorra in June.
