Akris has named Jimmy Yeh as chief executive officer of the Americas as it plans U.S. retail expansion, including a flagship in Chicago.
He succeeds Peter Herink, who held the position for a decade. Yeh is based in New York City and reports to Melissa Beste, global CEO of the Swiss luxury women’s ready-to-wear brand.
He is charged with overseeing the planned rollout of new stores and concessions this year, including a flagship on Chicago’s prestigious Oak Street, and increasing the brand’s marketing efforts and digital impressions,Courtesy of Akris “I’m honored and excited to join Akris as CEO for the Americas. I look forward to this new chapter and the journey ahead,” Yeh said in a statement.In addition to its U.S. subsidiary, Akris has branches in Japan and South Korea and operates its own boutiques in major cities around the globe. The collections are also available in more than 300 selected points of sale worldwide.
