MedStar, which provides emergency medical services to Fort Worth and areas surrounding the city, said it treated 25 patients for heat-related illnesses on Monday, with 19 of them needing further treatment at hospitals. Two of the patients were children left in hot cars.“That is the most in one day so far this year,” MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said in a news release.
