The sun will be back soon though - don't worry!
The weather in much of Scotland - especially Glasgow - has been pretty nice with the sun staying out for weeks and not much rain in sight. And typically, we are now set to have some rainy days over the weekend - despite the sunshine while many of us have been stuck in the office working.Although temperatures in Glasgow will remain largely the same with highs reaching around the 22C and 23C mark, we may not be sitting out sunbathing just yet.
It should have pushed through by 9pm but Sunday brings with it the prospect of thunderstorms, according to the Met Office. Rain is expected to arrive at around noon on the west coast, growing heavier as it moves north and east throughout the day. Monday also promises to be a showery day. In its long-range forecast the Met Office states that towards the end of June "there may be a return to slightly more settled conditions".
