IPOH: Former Umno members should not interfere with party matters, says Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.
The Perak Umno chairman said there was no need for former members to make provocative statements about the party."But we are now on the right path and moving forward," he said during a press conference here on Sunday .
On Friday , Perak Umno Youth chief Nazirul Jamaluddin had refused to entertain any criticisms made by former party member Khairy Jamaluddin and described the former Rembau MP's criticisms as irrelevant."While I appreciate that they are still in love with the party, I would advise them to let those in Umno decide what’s best for the party," he said.
