Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort has been released from prison amid coronavirus concerns and will serve his sentence from home, his attorney says
Sadie GurmanPresident Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort has been released from a federal prison due to coronavirus concerns and will continue serving his 7 ½ year sentence for tax and bank fraud from home, his attorney said Wednesday.
Mr. Manafort, 71 years old, is one of at least 2,471 federal prisoners who have been placed on home confinement as officials try to ease crowding to stem the spread of the virus.
