Nowell – a career nine points per game scorer – joins a Pelicans team down Dejounte Murray, CJ McCollum, Herb Jones and Trey Murphy.As a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves for four seasons, Nowell averaged 9.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists on 45/32/80 shooting from the field. He played in 184 games with the team and averaged 17 minutes a game.
