Ex Texans player Charles Omenihu cheers on Deshaun Watson against former team
While Watson was sitting out the 2021 season under the cloud of ugly allegations, Omenihu spoke out in support of his friend.Omenihu said on ESPN 97.5 FM in September 2021
. “I was riding with Deshaun before I got into the league just for the fact that we got the same agent. So, I’ve been around him. To me, it’s outside of my pay grade, but him as a person, and as a friend, will always stay the same. It will never waver.” After he was traded to the 49ers, Omenihu didn’t have kind words for his former organization. When he was in the playoffs, he offered a comparison between the only two teams he's played for in the NFL
