The ceremony was attended by Army officials, a platoon of soldiers and members of Ragos’ family and friends, all of who wore white shirts with a statement calling for justice for Ragos, according to Col. Ramon Zagala, Philippine Army spokesman.Ragos, who served in Marawi, was also given a 21-gun salute and his family presented with the Philippine flag in honor of his service to the country.
Ragos, who was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in December 2016 and discharged in 2017, allegedly threatened to shoot Florendo and his companions at the checkpoint.
