Ex-President Donald Trump is coming to Ohio later this month to stump for Republican U.S. Senate candidate J.D. Vance.

COLUMBUS, Ohio --

Trump is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. The event is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., although doors open at 8 a.m.Trump, who has remained heavily influential within the Republican Party despite losing the 2020 election, is the second national GOP figure to appear with Vance in the Mahoning Valley recently. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis held a rally for Vance last month in nearby Trumbull County.

Trump’s last appearance in Ohio was for an April 25 rally in Delaware County, where he campaigned for Vance ahead of Ohio’s Republican primary election on May 3.
