KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court heard that an inflow of money into the private account of Datuk Seri Najib Razak was not necessarily an offence unless the transaction was done with bad intent and knowledge.
Former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad, 52, however said that it would be an offence if the money in question was spent.
“But if the person spent the money, that would be an offence,” he said at the SRC International Sdn Bhd trial here yesterday. Dzulkifli said that he could not remember the two directors and did not know the outcome of the suggestion.
