Three members formerly of Loona are preparing to debut as a three-member act in July, according to agency Modhaus on Monday.
Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry will form the group Odd Eye Circle and bring out an album in mid-July. The three will be taking over from the group that began its career in 2017 with EPThey, along with bandmate Heejin, signed with the agency in March after winning a lawsuit against former management firm Blockberry Creative over their exclusive contracts.
Loona debuted in 2017 with 12 members but got mired in conflicts with the company triggered by Chuu last year. It virtually disbanded as all members left the firm and went separate ways after five remaining managed to win their appeal last week. – By Hwang You-mee/The Korea Herald/Asia News Network
