Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Kelvin Mushangazhike praised Nasreddine Nabi for bringing his technical team to avoid backstabbing.
Ex-Kaizer Chiefs praise Nabi for ‘imitating’ Pitso MosimaneThe 58-year-old Tunisian tactician was announced as Amakhosi’s coach in July taking over from Cavin Johnson. Upon arrival, Nabi brought in assistant coaches Khalil Ben Youssef, Fernando Da Cruz, goalkeeper coach Ilyes Mzoughi, and strength and conditioning coach Safi Majd.
“The best decision he made is to recommend his preferred technical team. At a club like Chiefs, you must always have your autonomy as a coach. They can all have a common goal: to survive longer in the team. That will bring success,” Mushangazhike told“Having a local assistant coach around has its own advantages, but it has often resulted in accusations of sabotage. Nabi is a top coach and a lot of coaches have more to learn from him.
“So, at this point, he got rid of potential backroom staff sabotage and infighting. He is backed by his own people. They understand him. It’s a very important element that clubs must be ready to accept. Look at how Pitso did while at Al Ahly,” the ex-Kaizer Chiefs striker added” The August 2024 Pnet Job Market Trends Report shows the five most in-demand jobs in the country at the present time.
