Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana was named the Most Outstanding Player in the first round of the Betano Cup.
Despite a tough start to the season with his new club FCSB, Ngezana has found his feet in the SuperLiga.““It’s my first award in Romania, it feels exciting because of the recognition and the support from the fans,” said Ngezana as per“Also, thanks to the technical team for helping me to improve as a player,” said the former Kaizer Chiefs defender.
“The Romanian Cup is very important, not only for me but also for the team and for the fans, so we’ll try by all means to win it.Ngezana left Amakhosi end of May to join Romanian giants FCSB. In his debut game, the defender made an error which led to a goal denying his side a victory in preseason.Since september, the lanky defender has shown his qualities and has established himself at the club and in the league.
