Hillard said he knew Trump when he was a college student in New York City.'Trump is a person who's a decent man, and he supported the Black Panther Party,' Hilliard said. 'He was someone who gave us money.
President Joe Biden has criticized Trump's efforts to court the Black vote. The former president is 'pandering and peddling lies and stereotypes for your vote, so he can win for himself, not for you,' Biden told the audience during a rally to kick off his campaign's 'Black Voters for Biden-Harris' effort last week.Trump has been accused of bigotry and racism for decades.
