A former Bayern Munich boss is reportedly in the lead to take over the now vacant Chelsea managerial position. SLInt MORE:
, Julian Nagelsmann is the man hotly tipped to take over the managerial reins at Stamford Bridge.
Graham Potter was fired as head coach after the Blues' 2-0 loss to Aston Villa on the weekend, with the Englishman having finished his reign with the third-lowest win percentage of any Chelsea boss in the Premier League era as the west Londoners now look at yet another German tactician to salvage their campaign.
Nagelsmann is said to be admired by the Chelsea chiefs and the club reportedly want him as their next boss. It is claimed the 35-year-old has already been contacted by the Premier League giants through intermediaries to initiate talks, but it remains to be seen if he is willing to re-enter the managerial space so soon after being fired by Bayern.
Nagelsmann is also believed to be a target for Tottenham Hotspur following the recent departure of their previous manager Antonio Conte.
