Ex-Army husband accused of knifing NHS nurse mum to death at family home in Skype court hearing
AN ex-Army soldier will go on trial later this year accused of knifing an NHS nurse to death.
Mum-of-three Victoria Woodhall, 31, who was working on the coronavirus frontline as an operating department practitioner at Rotherham General Hospital, was attacked just before 5pm on Sunday.Victoria Woodhall, 31, a nurse, was stabbed to death in the street in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
Victoria's husband Craig Woodhall, 40, appeared before Sheffield Crown Court today for a 10-minute hearing.But Recorder of Sheffield Judge Jeremy Richardson QC told him that because of the "national medical emergency", this date may have to be modified in the future.The judge sat in court but the defendant appeared by video-link and all counsel appeared by Skype.
