Ex-Al Ahly star hails Pitso as one of the club's best
Former Al Ahly star Walid Salah El-Din said that Pitso Mosimane is one of the club's best coaches in recent times.
Retired Egyptian footballer Walid Salah El-Din represented the Red Devils from 1989 to 2003 and has reflected on his career, as well as the various coaches who have been in charge of the club over the years. The 1998 Africa Cup of Nations winner was speaking to an Egyptian radio station when he opened up on some of the leadership that he had experienced during his time at the club as both a player and a coach.
The CAF Champions League winner then Mosimane and his achievements during his tenure at the club from October 2020 to June 2022. The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach, meanwhile, joined relegation-threatened Saudi Pro League side Abha Club on short-term deal in January this year.
